This bungalow is designed with a strong respect for its existing natural context, where the original slope and mature trees are carefully preserved. Rather than reshaping the land, the design approach focuses on minimal intervention, allowing the house to grow naturally from its surroundings.
To maintain a sense of privacy and architectural subtlety, the main entrance is designed to be visually discreet, blending seamlessly into the façade. The result is a home that feels calm, intentional, and deeply connected to its environment—where architecture, landscape, and climate work together in balance.

The architecture adopts a U-shaped layout, organized around a central pool. This configuration encourages cross-ventilation, enhances natural cooling, and responds effectively to the Malaysian tropical climate. The pool acts as both a visual and climatic anchor, helping to cool the surrounding spaces while creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living.
The bridge creates a physical and visual connection between zones, allowing openness where needed while maintaining privacy and comfort. Its placement enhances flow, light, and ventilation, reinforcing the relationship between indoor spaces and the surrounding environment.
