Located in Sekinchan, a Malaysian town known for its expansive paddy field landscape, this project is designed as a café and public platform that celebrates art, nature, and place. Surrounded by open fields and a strong rural identity, the design approach focuses on respecting the existing context rather than competing with it.
The project includes a café, walking bridge, and elevated platforms created to showcase artworks by Malaysian artists. A minimal architectural language is adopted—clean forms, restrained materials, and simple geometry—allowing the surrounding landscape and the art itself to take visual priority.

By keeping the architecture quiet and intentional, the design acts as a connector between people, art, and nature. The result is a serene and immersive environment where visitors can experience creativity while remaining deeply connected to Sekinchan’s unique agricultural landscape.
